The Book That Rewired My Mind – “Think and Grow Rich”
Unlocking Wealth, Purpose, and Possibility—One Thought at a Time
Good afternoon,
This week I want to pull back the curtain and share something truly personal with you, one of the most powerful and transformative books I’ve ever read: “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.
Now, I know the title can sound a little flashy, maybe even like it’s just about money, but I promise you, it’s so much deeper than that. This book is about developing a wealth mindset in every area of your life, your finances, your purpose, your relationships, your spiritual growth, and your belief in yourself.
And I can honestly say… this book changed the way I think forever.
How This Book Changed the Game for Me
When I first picked up Think and Grow Rich, I was in a space where I was doing "all the things"—working hard, juggling responsibilities, dreaming of more but I was still feeling stuck. I was exhausted from the hustle, and did not know how to break the cycle.
This book introduced me to a concept that stopped me in my tracks: “Thoughts are things.”
Let that sink in for a second. I had never heard of this in my life at the time.
It’s not just about what we do, it’s about what we think, what we believe, and what we speak into our lives. I had never fully realized how much of my reality was being shaped by the stories I was telling myself… subconsciously. Once I understood that my mindset was the key to everything, my income, my peace, my joy, my purpose, I couldn’t unlearn it.
That’s when everything shifted.
This wasn’t just a book, it was a mirror. It forced me to confront my limiting beliefs, get radically clear about what I actually wanted, and develop the faith, discipline, and strategy to make it happen.
What You’ll Learn in Think and Grow Rich
Napoleon Hill spent over 25 years studying the most successful people of his time—entrepreneurs, inventors, leaders and distilled their secrets into 13 powerful principles.
Here are just a few that stood out to me:
Desire: The starting point of all achievement. If you don’t know what you want, you can’t manifest it.
Faith: Belief in yourself and in what’s possible is non-negotiable. Faith must become a state of mind.
Autosuggestion: The practice of feeding your mind new thoughts, affirmations, and visions on a daily basis.
Specialized Knowledge: Knowing your lane and continuing to grow in it is a superpower.
Imagination: Everything starts in the mind before it becomes real. Dreaming isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.
Persistence: Most people give up just before the breakthrough. The key is to keep going.
Mastermind: You are the average of the people you surround yourself with—choose wisely.
What I love most is that this book doesn’t preach. It teaches. It invites you to become an active creator of your life. It’s not just about getting rich in your bank account, it’s about becoming rich in spirit, confidence, and purpose. I was glued to this book.
Why You Should Read This Book (If You’re Serious About Living Abundantly)
If you’ve ever felt like there’s more for you—more peace, more purpose, more prosperity, but you’re unsure how to reach it… this book is a blueprint.
It will stretch you. It will challenge your current beliefs. And it will show you how to take control of your mind so that you can take control of your life.
Think and Grow Rich taught me that wealth starts in the mind long before it shows up in your bank account. And abundance isn't just for a chosen few, it’s available to anyone who is willing to align their thoughts with their deepest desires and take bold, aligned action.
This is a book I come back to over and over again, and every time I read it, I uncover a new layer. If you read it with an open heart and a willing spirit, it will transform how you approach every part of your journey.
Final Thoughts
I always say we weren’t meant to just survive life, we were meant to live it fully. And for me, part of living my best life means constantly growing, expanding, and stepping into my highest self. This book helped me do that, and I know it can help you too.
So if you haven’t read Think and Grow Rich, consider this your sign to grab a copy. And if you’ve read it before, maybe it’s time to revisit it… because who you are now will receive it differently than who you were then.
Here's to mindset shifts, abundance, and becoming the version of yourself that already has the life you’ve been dreaming about.
With love and purpose,
Jay
